The Northern Alberta BMW Club, in partnership with the Southern Alberta BMW Club, host the Alberta Advanced Driving Schools. The purpose of these schools is to instruct students in the art of advanced driving technique, and polish skills through excellent one-to-one in-car instruction on a closed road track. In-car instruction is supplemented by classroom sessions, and specific skills are further reinforced by exercises on the skid pad. Schools are scheduled in the spring and fall of each year, and weather permitting, a winter school is also scheduled. »more about schools
The Northern Alberta BMW Club also has relationships with other local clubs, such as the Porsche Club of America's Polar Region, providing additional driving, technical, and social opportunities; as well as relationships with merchants who provide discounts to club members on services of interest to BMW owners and motorsport enthusiasts. »merchant discount list
