Volunteer instructor team, fall 2003 school

This school is possible thanks to the many Volunteer Instructors

Assembling a crack team of volunteer instructors like the one pictured above isn't easy.  BMWCC Advanced Driving School instructors are carefully selected, and we're proud to say that they are the finest available.

Our instructors come from all walks of life...lawyers, doctors, Indian chiefs, you know the routine.  All start out as driving enthusiasts. All have been through the BMWCC Advanced Driving School in the past, and demonstrated their proficiency before being invited to become instructors. Most have been around the track more than a few times as competitive drivers. Many count their individual laps by hundreds or even thousands.

Once invited to become BMWCC Advanced Driving School instructors, prospects take a special course to perfect the skills they will eventually be teaching students, and to become accredited. Only then do they earn the coveted Red Jacket.

One of the benefits of being an instructor is volunteering to teach at other schools across Canada and the US, thereby getting additional seat time at venues instructors wouldn't otherwise have access to.

If you think you have what it takes to be a volunteer instructor, attend  one of our schools and ask for an invite.  We'll assess your current ability, and determine whether you rank among the top drivers suitable to take it to the next level.
