Yes. You will be accelerating more aggressively and frequently than in normal driving conditions. This will increase fuel consumption.  Fuel will not be available at the track.  To avoid the lengthy delay of driving off-site to refuel, we recommend that you arrive at the track each day with a full tank of gas.
